Sheermal first time I tasted…it’s look like roti but not roti. It was very very tasty..I loved it. I tasted sheermal dry fruits and sheermal plain one… both were delicious. We can preserve them for a week.

Ingredients of Shahi Sheermal

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 cup maida
  • 2-3 tsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp milk powder
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 3 tsp curd
  • 3 tsp ghee
  • warm milk
  • 1/4 cup milk for brushing
  • 1 cup chopped dry fruits
  • Ghee for making sheermal

How to make Shahi Sheermal

  • Put maida, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
  • Add milk powder, powdered sugar, curd and ghee and cardamom powder in the bowl.
  • Then slowly add required amount of milk and knead it to make a smooth dough, Keep rest for 1 hour.
  • Make rolls and roll them gently to make them Paratha and make impression with the help of a fork and brush with milk.
  • Then press the chopped dry fruits over it, and put on tawa. Add ghee on it.
  • Shahi Ragi Sheermal are ready. Serve hot
