Motichur laddu are soft, delish melt in the mouth ladoo made mainly with gram flour, sugar, and spices. It’s one of my favorite sweets which I make for special occasions and is mouthwatering good!

Ingredients of Motichoor Ladoo

for boondi:

  • 2 cup besan 
  • 2 tbsp rava 
  • ¼ tsp saffron food colour
  •  cup water
  • oil for frying

for sugar syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp saffron food colour
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cashew / kaju (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp pistachios

How to make Motichoor Ladoo

  • firstly, to the hot sugar syrup, add prepared boondi.
  • Make sure to coat all the boondi with sugar syrup.
  • continue to cook for 2 -3 minutes.
  • cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Add cashew and pistachios. mix well.
  • You can see the the mixture is dried.
  • prepare the ladoo taking a small amount of boondi. add milk if required, to make moist laddu.
  • finally, motichoor laddo is ready to be served.
