One of my absolute favorites was always the Bounty Chocolate bar. If you’ve never had a bounty bar before, they are amazing, especially if you like coconut and chocolate. In the US they are called Mounds Bars or Almond Joy.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Freezer Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients of Bounty Bars

  • 3 cups shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup dark chocolate

How to Make Bounty Bars

    1. Coconut filling:  You can mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and blend for 2 minutes.
    2. Spread the coconut filling on silicone mold and put it in the freezer for 30 minutes.
    3. Now melt chocolate. It’s best to do this using a double boiler method.
    4. Remove the coconut candy bars from the freezer and dip into the melted chocolate.
    5. I double-dip, so that all the surfaces are properly covered.
    6. You could also pop the coconut bars back in the fridge.
    7. Once set, your coconut chocolate bars are ready to enjoy.
