I love finding new ways to cook dinner rolls, so when I saw this recipe for Dinner Rolls stuffed with chicken and cheese, wow! I knew I had to try it.

Ingredients Of Chicken Cheese Rolls

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tspn instant yeast
  • 1 tbspn sugar
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbspn oil
  • T tspn salt
  • for the chicken fill in
  • 2 chicken breast diced
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 1 big onion chopped
  • 3 tbspn oil
  • 3 scotch bonnet blended
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 2 potatoes diced
  • Handfull parsely chopped
  • cubes Seasoning
  • 1/4 tspn cumin
  • 1/4 tspn coriander
  • 1/4 tspn black pepper
  • 1/4 tspn white pepper
  • 1/4 tspn oregano
  • 1/4 tspn thyme
  • 1 tspn curry powder
  • 1 and 1/2 cup grated mozzerela cheese
  • 1/4 tspn rosemary
  • 1 tbspn fresh ginger
  • toppings
  • sesame seeds
  • dried parsely flakes
  • 1 small egg for egg wash

How To MAKE Chicken Cheese Rolls

  1. In a bowl measure flour,to it add yeast,salt,sugar and mix.Add warm milk.Then the oil,and whisked egg,mix.
  2. Then add warm water to form a scattered sticky dough,scrape the batter on your hands and wash the hands then spread oil on both hands.
  3. Knead for 5 mins by sprinkling little flour when it sticks,cover and allow it to rise for 1hr.till then lets make the filling.
  4. Then ginger and fry a little bit,then add in chicken and stir fry for 3mins.Add onion,potato,carrot.
  5. Scotch bonnet and mix well,stir fry that for 3-4 mins then add the spices.
  6. Keep on stirring,then ad seasoning cubes,after 2 mins then add your green pepper and parsely.
  7. Stir that well and cover lower the heat, for 2 mins and turn off heat.Our dough has risen,deflate and knead the dough for 1 min.
  8. Cut into 14 small balls and mould them,keep the rest aside and dust flour on them,then take one and roll as shown, add 1 tbspn of the filling.
  9. Then cheese,and wrap it like spring rolls. And tanaa,repeat with the rest of the balls and arrange them by leaving a space in between them on a greased baking dish or pan, and allow them to re-rise for 30mins. And sprinkle desired sesame seeds and parsely flakes, bake at pre heated oven of 250F for 15-20min.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy.
