It is a flavourful and aromatic homemade masala especially for nonveg dishes. It doesnt mean that it cannot be used for veg dishes, you can use it for veggies,paneer,babycorn, mushroom etc.

Ingredients of Chicken Masala

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup coriander seeds
  • 4 red chillies
  • 4 kashmiri red chillies
  • 4 garlic
  • tbsp black pepper
  • tbsp cumin seeds
  • tbsp fennel seeds
  • tbsp poppy seeds
  • 10 cloves
  • cinnamon
  • cardamom
  • star anise
  • big bayleaf
  • 2 japathiri
  • tsp kasoori methi

How to Make Chicken Masala

  1. Heat oil in a kadai add coriander seeds, red chillies and kashmiri red chillies and garlic.
  2. Roast until golden and aromatic.
  3. Set aside, and cool down.
  4. Now add all other ingredients in kadhai.
  5. Roast until golden and transfer to the same plate.
  6. Cool down completely then transfer to a mixer jar.
  7. Make a smooth powder.
  8. Then store in an airtight jar.
