Ingredients of Falooda Recipe

  • ½ tablespoon sabja seeds
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 5 tablespoons falooda sev
  • 2 cups water
  • 6 tablespoons rose syrup
  • 6 tablespoons soaked sabja seeds
  • 12 tablespoons cooked falooda sev
  • 4 cups chilled whole milk
  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 12 unsalted pistachios
  • 12 almonds – chopped
  • 12 cashews – chopped
  • 12 golden raisins

How to Make Falooda Recipe

  1. Soak sabja seeds in water for 30 mins.
  2. After soaked drain the extra water.
  3. Prepare the falooda sev according to instructions.
  4. Soaking the falooda sev in warm water.
  5. Added 5 tablespoons sev.
  6. Boil the faluda sev in the hot water.
  7. Once cooked, drain the extra water.
  8. Rinse the cooked falooda sev in fresh water.
  9. Drain the water again.
  10. Chop the nuts.

Making Falooda

  1. In 4 tall glasses each, add 1.5 to 2 tablespoons rose syrup.
  2. Add 2 tsp soaked sabja seeds.
  3. Add 3 tsp of the faluda sev.
  4. Put about 1 cup milk.
  5. Top with one scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  6. Garnish with a few raisins, sliced pistachios, almonds.
  7. Serve the falooda immediately.
