This rajgira kadhi is good for fasting as its easy to digest and is also cooling for the body. This farali kadhi is made during the Hindu fast or vrat like Navratri, Maha Shivratri, Ekadasi, Jaya Parvati vrat or Janmashtmi.

Ingredients of Farali Kadhi
- 1 cup Dahi
- 1 tsp Rajgira ka atta
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tsp Peanuts crushed
- 1 ½ tsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 Green chilies chopped finely
- ½ tsp Ginger paste
- Rock salt to taste
- few sprigs Cilantro
Instructions of Farali Kadhi

Take yogurt, rajgira flour and salt in a bowl. Whisk them well.

Add water and mix well.

Heat ghee in a pan.

Once hot add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle.

Then add chopped green chilies and ginger paste.

Cook them for 30 seconds.

Then add the yogurt mixture and mix immediately.

Add crushed peanuts.

Let it come to a boil.

Simmer it for until kadhi thickens.

Keep stirring every 5 minutes to avoid overflowing.

Switch off the stove and finally garnish farali kadhi with chopped cilantro.
