As apples goes really well with the cinnamon this makes a perfect combination.

Ingredients of Kashmiri Style Apple Tamatar Sabzi

  • Apples , peeled
  • Tomatoes , pureed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • Cinnamon Stick 
  • Bay leaf (tej patta)
  • Salt
  • 2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves
  • Cooking oil , for cooking

How to make Kashmiri Style Apple Tamatar Sabzi

  1. We start to prepare the Tamatar Ki Sabzi apple by heating a Kadhai with a little oil and adding laurel and cinnamon.
  2. Sauté until the aroma is released.
  3. Then add the tomato puree and the other spice powders.
  4. Sauté for about 10 minutes until the raw smell of the tomato disappears.
  5. Add the apple in cubes and stir.
  6. Cook another 10 minutes until the apple becomes boiled and soaks up a little sauce.
  7. Serve your sweet and tangy Tamatar ki Sabzi apple with Singhare ka cheela.
