The Kashmir is not just a Paradise known for its natural beauty but also for its good food. Vegetarian dish from Kashmir dishes which I love is nadru (lotus stam)ke Kababs or bolls.
Ingredients of making Lotus stem Kababs or Balls
- 1 big Lotus stem
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 2 green chilli
- 50 gram Chana dal
- 50 green peas
- 1 tsp besan(roasted)
- salt to taste
How to make Lotus stem kababs or balls
- Clean and Wash the lotus stem and all vegetables.
- Chop the vegetables put aside except Lotus stem. Boil Chana dal and Lotus stem with a little salt and peas separately. Now mash dal, Lotus stem and fry onion, then add the other vegetables, add roast besan and all spices mix well and make a ball or kababs.
- Now take a heavy bottom Skillet put little oil and press it and fry it if kababs. Deep fry these if Balls and serve hot with sauces and green chutney.
