Fresh juicy buttery pastry of mangoes  are the correct dessert and snack in any SEASON. These Mango Crumb Bars are brilliant clean and easy to make.


  • 2-2 cups ripe mangoes
  • 3-3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2-2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  • Cut mangoes into small chunks. In a bowl, integrate mango chunks, sugar (use greater if mango isn’t ripened) and corn starch. Mix nicely and set aside.
  • In a huge bowl, integrate flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Cut unsalted butter into chunks and upload to flour combination.
  • Cold cubes of butter in meals processor, If the use of a meals processor, pulse till small crumbs are formed. If the use of a pastry cutter, reduce butter into flour combination till small crumbs are formed.
  • Mix together wet ingredients – brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract. Then add wet ingredients into buttery dry mixture. Mix well – mixture should be slightly crumbly.
  • Bring half of crumbly mixture to the bottom of a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Press mixture onto pan to form a layer of crumb pastry.
  • Add mango mixture, and spread it out evenly. Then sprinkle the top with the rest of the crumbles. Bake in the oven for 15-15 minutes. let it cool for 10-10 minutes. Cut into 9 square bars. Serve and enjoy.
