Murmura ladoo is a popular Indian sweet recipe made with only 2 ingredients puffed rice and melted jaggery.

Ingredients of Murmura Laddu

  • 3 cup murmura 
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 cup jaggery 

How To Make Murmura Laddu

  • Dry roast murmura on low flame.
  • Heat ghee in a kadhai and add jaggery.
  • keeping the flame on low stir continuously until the jaggery melts.
  • Check the consistency, by dropping syrup into a bowl of water, it should form a soft ball.
  • Turn off the flame and add dry roasted murmura and mix gently.
  • Mix until the mixture is well combined.
  • Grease your hand with ghee or wet your hand with water and prepare ladoo when the mixture is still warm.
  • Enjoy murmura ladoo stored in an airtight container.
