Potato patties stuffed with fresh coconut, cashew and fresh herbs. Easy to make in any fast/vrat festival.

Ingredients of NARIYAL KACHORI

  • 5 – boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp – salt
  • 1/2 tsp – cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp – arrowroot or corn flour
  • For stuffing:
  • 4 tbsp – grated fresh coconut
  • 3 – chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp – grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp – roasted and crushed peanuts
  • 3 tbsp – fresh coriander
  • 1.5 tsp – lemon juice
  • 1 tsp – sugar

How To Make NARIYAL KACHORI

  • Add boiled and mashed potato, salt, cumin seeds and arrowroot in a bowl, mix well.
  • Mix grated coconut and all the stuffing ingredients in a bowl.
  • Grease your palms, and take a small ball of potato mixture.
  • Stuff with coconut mixture and seal properly, and roll in dried corn flour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and Deep Fried these kachoris on medium heat till golden brown in colour.
  • Drain on a tissue paper and serve hot.
