Ingredients of Paneer Malai Ladoo

  • cup home made paneer
  • cup whole milk
  • cup milk powder
  • 1 Tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 Tbsp sliced pistachios for garnishing

How To Make Paneer Malai Ladoo

  1. We used 4 cups of whole milk to make 1 cup of paneer.
  2. Use a flat bottom pan, add the paneer, milk and powdered milk, mix well.
  3. Cook the paneer mixture over low heat, stirring continuously, as the powdered milk mixture can burn easily. Also continue to discard the sides.
  4. The mixture will come together and have the texture of a soft dough, it should take about 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. Add clarified butter, mix well and cook for 1 minute. Put out the fire.
  6. Transfer the paneer mixture to a plate and let come to room temperature.
  7. Add the sugar and cardamom powder, mix well and knead for a minute. it should be like a soft dough.
  8. Make them into about an inch balls. Paneer Ladoos should have a soft texture.
  9. Garnish with pistachios and almond.
