Pichi-pichi, also spelled pitsi-pitsi, is a Filipino dessert made from steamed cassava flour balls mixed with sugar and lye.

Ingredients of Pichi Pichi
- 2 cups cassava grated
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup coconut grated
- 1/2 tsp lye water
- 1/2 tsp buko-pandan essence
How to Make Pichi Pichi

Mix cassava, sugar, and water in a pan.

Add lye water slowly while stirring the mixture continuously.

Put buko-pandan essence then mix again.

Once the mixture is properly distributed, put in cup molds and put in a steamer.

Steam the mixture for 1 hour.

Cool down then remove from the molds.

Roll the each piece over the grated coconut.

Place in a serving plate then serve.
