Pistachio Ice Cream

It’s almost summer and this is the right time to make some good homemade summer treats. Obviously, ice cream top the frozen deserts list every summer.

Ingredients of Pistachio Ice Cream

  • ½ cup chilled milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 to 2.25 cups chilled cream
  • ½ cup pistachios

How to Make Pistachio Ice Cream

  • Grind half pista to a coarse powder.
  • Now take another ¼ cup of pistachios in the food chopper. Just chop or grind them to small bits.
  • Take, ½ cup chilled milk and ½ cup sugar, mix well.
  • Then add 2.25 cups chilled cream.
  • Mix the cream with the milk.
  • Add the coarsely ground pista powder.
  • Add a few drops of natural green food color.
  • Add this entire mixture in the ice cream maker. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Churn the mixture till the ice cream is frozen.
  • Add the chopped pistachios and fold in the ice cream.
  • Now you can remove the pista ice cream and serve directly it in a box.
  • Serve and enjoy.
