Ragi Milkshake

Cereal Drinks are smoothies or shakes in which one or more types of cereals are added to a regular smoothie base. It is vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free. The natural sweetness of bananas and dates is actually more than enough.

Ingredients for Ragi Milkshake 

  1. Ragi Flour / Finger Millet Flour – 2 to 3 tblspn
  2. Water – 1/2 cup
  3. Badam Milk Powder – 2 tblspn
  4. Cold Milk – 2 cups
  5. Sugar to taste
  6. 1 big banana
  7. 4 pitted dates soaked in hot water for 15-20 mins (optional)

Instructions for Ragi Milkshake 

  • In a small pot, mix together ½ cup milk, ½ cup water, and ragi powder. Bring the mixture boil. Stir to mix ragi flour with the milk without any lumps. Keep aside.
  • In the blender jar, add bananas, dates, badam milk powder and the remaining ½ cup milk.
  • Blend to smooth and then add the ragi and milk mixture. Blend again until well combined.
  • Serve warm.
