Ingredients of Raw Banana Tikki
- 3 medium raw bananas
- 1.5 cups for water
- 10 cashews (chopped)
- ½ inch ginger, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1 tsp freshly crushed black pepper
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp chopped mint leaves
- 2 tsp water chestnut flour or amaranth flour
- rock salt
- 2 tsp ghee for frying
How to Make Raw Banana Tikki

Put bananas in cooker with water.

Pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Peel and mash them.

Then add all of the other ingredients, except oil.

Now take equal portions and shape them into patties.

Heat ghee in a flat pan, place the tikkies.

When the base is cooked and becomes light golden, turn over and fry the other side.

Fry the tikkies till they become golden and crisp.

Drain the fried tikkies on kitchen paper towels.

Serve banana tikkies with coconut chutney or coriander chutney or mint chutney.
