Falooda is a delicious milk based sweet drink that is very popular after a meal. Not only is it delicious with all sorts of interesting textures, it is a pretty pink color too. It is generally used during the vrat or fasting season as it contains required nutrient to make a complete meal. however it can also be used in different dessert recipes, and sabudana falooda recipe is one such easy and simple dessert drink recipe.

Ingredients of Sago Faluda

for sago pearls:

  • 4 cup water
  • ½ cup sabudana 

for rose milk:

  • 3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp rooh afza

for falooda:

  • 1 tbsp rooh afza
  • 2 tbsp sabja / basil seeds
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jelly
  • 3 tbsp nuts (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp tutti frutti
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cherry

How to Make Sago Faluda

  • Take 4 cup water and add ½ cup sabudana in a kadhai.
  • Boil for 10 minutes, until the sabudana turns translucent.
  • Drain off the sabudana, rinse with cold water.
  • sabudana pearls are ready.
  • Take 3 cup milk in a large pan.
  • Boil until the milk reduces slightly.
  • cool the milk completely.
  • Add 2 tbsp rooh afza and mix well.
  • Add 1 tbsp rooh afza and 2 tbsp sabja in a large glass.
  • Add 2 tbsp prepared sago pearls and 2 tbsp strawberry jelly.
  • Add 2 tbsp nuts and 2 tbsp tutti frutti.
  • Pur in 1 cup chilled rose milk and stir gently.
  • Put scoop in 1 scoop vanilla ice cream.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts, tutti frutti and cherry.
  • Enjoy sabudana falooda!!!!
