Urad daal papads are known as a famous protein packed snack all around the globe. This is a bit tedious and time consuming process and lot of hard work in required. But end result is just amazing.

Ingredients of Urad Dal Papads

  • 500 grams urad dal flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tdp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp papad khar
  • 1 tbsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • 4 tbsp oil

How to Make Urad Dal Papads

  1. Heat water and add salt and papad khar and boil.
  2. Add urad dal flour and cumin seeds, black pepper and hing in a bowl, Mix well.
  3. Make a very hard dough adding boiled water.
  4. Cover for 2 hours.
  5. Make a big roll and make balls.
  6. Roll out each ball on a rolling board.
  7. Apply oil if papad tends to stick on rolling board.
  8. Dry the papad in direct sunlight or under fan also.
  9. Stores in airtight container.
  10. When you require roast direct flame or deep fry also.
