Seviyan kheer also known as vermicelli kheer is a must at any festival at our place. Making vermicelli kheer is very easy and does not take much time.

INGREDIENTS of Vermicelli Milk Pudding 

  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • 3/4 Mug Vermicelli
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp elaichi
  • 3 Mugs of Milk
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 5 tbsp of Condensed Milk
  • crushed 4-5 Cardamons
  • chopped Nuts
  • Optional 1 tbsp Olive oil

How to Make Vermicelli Milk Pudding 

  • Add 1 cup of boiled water in a pan.
  • Add the salt into it and put to the boil.
  • Add oil.
  • Then add the cardamons, sugar and then the Vermicelli.
  • Add the Condensed Milk and continuously stir.
  • Add the milk a small portion.
  • Keep stirring until the vermicelli softens & add more milk if needed.
  • When vermicelli melts, turn off the heat and leave to 5 minutes.
  • The mixture should then thicken while cooling down.
  • If it seems to have got too thick you can add more milk to thin it out.
  • Put chopped nuts for garnishing.
